UPSC Topper 2021: The results of the Civil Services Examination have been declared on 30th May 2022. After the declaration of the result, the dreams of many Aspirants came true. So many of them were also incomplete. UPSC CSE (UPSC CSE Result 2022 Yaksh Chaudhary IAS Topper, a resident of Amroha, UP, who succeeded in the examination, has secured the Sixth rank.
There is an atmosphere of cheerfulness in the family of Yash Chaudhary after the result. Yash Chaudhary’s Central Reserve Police Force in the 2019. He was picked for the post of Assistant Commandant. After which Yash Chaudhary was on extraordinary leave and was engaged in the preparation of Civil services.

AIR 6 rank-holder in the Civil services exam, Yaksh Chaudhary hails from a very Simple family background in Amroha, UP. His father is into agriculture and so does Yaksh have knowledge about the same and the issues faced by the farmers and the people living in a village. And this is the biggest motivation for him to crack the UPSC examination.
Yaksh Chaudhary has done his school Education from Sarvodaya Saraswati Academy, Amroha till 12th and then he got into IIT Guwahati to pursue B.Tech in Civil Engineering. After his graduation, Yaksh Begin UPSC preparation and gave his first attempt in 2019 but couldn’t clear the exam.
Also, Yaksh got picked as Assistant Commandant in CRPF in the year 2019 but he pursued his preparation for the Civil Services taking extra-ordinary leave from it. On his second attempt also, he couldn’t qualify for the Civil services exam and this is his 3rd attempt where he has managed to get an All India Rank 6. Now he might get IAS and we can very soon see Yaksh Chaudhary as an Indian Administrative Service officer.
IAS Topper Yaksh Chaudhary Preparation Strategy
He began his preparation in Delhi but had to return house due to Covid-19. After that, he continued his preparation from home. He was preparing full-time for the Civil Services exam.
At that time, he opted for live classes and subscribed to Unacademy which gave him access to quality learning materials with the flexibility to learn any place.
- For prelims, he does very hard work to get success.
- For mains, he gave every day some effort to make the answer structure better.
- He started civil services preparation four years ago by studying NCERTs.
- Since current affairs are possibly the most significant part of the IAS exam he backed his started preparation with day-to-day newspaper readings to give sufficient focus to the happenings nationally and internationally.
- He joined a few live mock test series for Prelims and mains.
- He was accurate about the study materials. He consolidated his study materials and repeated them as many times as he could.
- Be patient and stay engaged all the time.
- Always tried to improve his performance.
- made his own notebooks.
From the very beginning, he carried his preparation under senior teachers and mentors.
He didn’t follow any super different strategy of planning. He executed the same strategy differently.

Yaksh Chaudhary scored 1033 marks out of 2025 marks in total which includes 879 marks in Civil Services (Main) Written Exam and 154 marks in Interview also known as Personality Test. He has achieved All India Rank 6 with optional Sociology and it is his third attempt in UPSC CSE.

Out of desperation, the UPSC topper indulged in jogging, I was also part of the athletics team at my college.
