CS Foundation is the first level exam conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India ( ICSI ) twice a year in June and December. You can register for the CS exams after your 12th board exams. This is an MCQ-type exam with a duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes for each subject.

CS foundation has four papers, namely:

Business Management, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship

Business Economics

Fundamentals of Accounting and Auditing
